Dina Lee is the Head of Training Staff of LIK Academy Photography + Design

“I’m Dina Lee, a portrait photographer with roots in the Koryo-saram community of Uzbekistan, now based in Vienna, Austria. My life’s journey has taken me through different countries, each enriching my experience with their diverse cultures and lifestyles. I hold a Master’s in Intercultural Communication from the University of Verona (Italy) and a Photography Diploma from the Lik Akademie für Foto und Design (Vienna, Austria). In 2013, following my graduation from LIK, I’ve launched my own portrait studio in Vienna. My specialty lies in portraits and branding images. In addition to my studio work, I’m deeply committed to personal projects that explore cultural identity and legacy through portraiture. My artworks have gained international recognition, featuring in prestigious venues like Photokina Biennale in Cologne and at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. Since 2016, I’ve been teaching at the LIK Academy, sharing my passion and knowledge with aspiring photographers. In 2023 I embraced the role of Head of Training Staff and in this capacity, I’m responsible for crafting innovative training methods and leading a team of skilled instructors. My goal is to ensure that our training programs are both cutting-edge and deeply impactful, equipping our students with the tools they need to excel in the dynamic field of digital media.”

eLearning - how it works!

Online learning is becoming more and more common. With a few simple tricks, online courses can be a practical supplement or alternative to on-site lessons. We explain how it works!

What do you need to make it work?

  • Laptop, PC or tablet

  • Internet connection

  • E-mail address for registering on the learning platform

Why eLearning?

  • eLearning is independent of time and place - you decide where and when you learn.

  • Versatile design of the learning content - hands-on content, videos or audio examples - variety in learning is guaranteed.

  • Learning content - such as explanatory videos - can be repeated as often as you like. This allows you to proceed at your own pace.

  • eLearning courses are often cheaper - you save money (e.g. travelling costs).
